    Eligibility Criteria:

    Information Security Executive:
    - Full time security executive with work experience directly related to information security in private enterprise with at least 3 years of experience directly related to information security.

    Government Security Leaders
    - Full time security executive in a government entity (Federal, State or State Owned Enterprise) with experience directly related to information security.

    IT Executive (CIO) for Security
    - Full time IT executive with responsibility of managing information security in absence of a dedicated security role / as reporting line to security role with at least 3 years experience directly related to managing information security.

    Rising Stars in Security & Risk

    - Full time security executive in a private or government entity (Federal, State or State Owned Enterprise) with less than 2 years experience directly related to information security.

    Woman Security Leaders (CISO)

    - Full time security executive in a private or government entity (Federal, State or State Owned Enterprise) with work experience directly related to information security.

    (ISC)2 - MESA Information Security Executive

    CSO, CISO, VP, Information Security Manager or Senior Security Manager with significant information security management responsibilities) who has significantly contributed to the enhancement of the information security workforce by demonstrating a leadership role in any information security workforce improvement initiative, program or project. Candidates in this category typically should have at least five years of work experience directly related to information security.

    (ISC)2 - MESA Government Security Leader

    A senior-level state or local government employee whose contribution to the development or implementation of any information security policy or process has significantly improved the government-wide or department security posture within the last 12 months or who has significantly contributed to the enhancement of the overall information security workforce by demonstrating a leadership role in any information security workforce improvement initiative.

    (ISC)2 - MESA Women Security Leader

    Any woman in information security who has distinguished herself for implementing and/or managing the implementation of a component of a security program (examples include: managing a security awareness and training program and, conducting difficult, complex security evaluations) Candidates in this category typically should have at least three years of work experience directly related to information security.

    (ISC)² – MESA - Information Security Executive of the year (Banking & Financial Services)

    CSO, CISO, VP, Information Security Manager or Senior Security Manager with significant information security management responsibilities who has distinguished themselves for implementing and/or managing the implementation of a component of a security program in the banking or financial services sector which contributed to the enhancement of the information security workforce and demonstrated a leadership role by gaining the support of their executive leaders. Please submit an overview of the project(s)/program(s) undertaken.

    Candidates in this category typically should have at least five years of work experience directly related to information security in the Banking & Financial Services organization.

    (ISC)² – MESA - Information Security Executive of the year (Healthcare)

    CSO, CISO, VP, Information Security Manager or Senior Security Manager with significant information security management responsibilities who has distinguished themselves for implementing and/or managing the implementation of a component of a security program in the healthcare or related services sector which contributed to the enhancement of the information security workforce and demonstrated a leadership role by gaining the support of their executive leaders. Please submit an overview of the project(s)/program(s) undertaken.

    Candidates in this category typically should have at least five years of work experience directly related to information security in the Healthcare Services organization.

    (ISC)²  – MESA - Information Security Executive of the year (Government)

    CSO, CISO, VP, Information Security Manager or Senior Security Manager with significant information security management responsibilities who has distinguished themselves for implementing and/or managing the implementation of a component of a security program in the government sector which contributed to the enhancement of the information security workforce and demonstrated a leadership role by gaining the support of their executive leaders. Please submit an overview of the project(s)/program(s) undertaken.

    Candidates in this category typically should have at least five years of work experience directly related to information security in the Government organization at federal, state or municipal level.
